Blood Donation Camp Successfully Organized at Mangalayatan University, Jabalpur
A blood donation camp was successfully organized today at Mangalayatan University, Jabalpur, under the joint aegis of the Rotary Club South and the NSS Red Ribbon Club. The camp’s objective was to raise awareness about blood donation in the community and provide safe blood to patients in need.
University students, faculty, and staff enthusiastically participated in the event. A team of expert doctors conducted health check-ups on donors, and blood was collected with complete safety and hygiene.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of university professors and Rotary Club members. Speakers on the occasion said:
Blood donation is a great donation and a true service to humanity. One unit of blood can save three lives.”
Student volunteers from the NSS and Red Ribbon Club played a key role throughout the program and provided essential support to the blood donors.
At the end of the program, all blood donors were honored with certificates and thank-you badges.
The university management, Rotary Club South, and NSS Red Ribbon Club members expressed their happiness at the successful organization of the program and pledged to organize more such social events in the future.
From Mangalayatan University, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. K.R.S. Sambha Shiva Rao, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vineet Kaur Saluja, Registrar Dr. B.S. Nagakishore, Organizer Prof. Vashuja Devi, Dr. Pooja Agarwal, Dr. Prakash Mishra, and Dr. Ashish Mishra moderated the stage. From Rotary Club South, outgoing Provincial Governor Rt. Akhil Mishra, former President Rt. Arun Kant Agarwal, Secretary Rt. Akhil Khandelwal, Treasurer Rt. Rakesh Gidrouniya, and Amarendra Narayan were present. Narendra Batra was accompanied by Prof. Rajesh Shukla, Prof. Dinesh Mishra, Prof. Neeraj Prakash Rai, Prof. P. Kumar, Dr. Aradhana Singh, Dr. Iram Hashmi, Dr. Priyanka Dubey, Dr. Yogesh Dubey, Mr. Jini Maurya, Neha Jain, Nitin Patel, Mr. Varsha and a large number of students from the university.
