B.Sc. (H) Agriculture is a 4 years undergraduate professional degree program offered by various government and private universities in India. The program is divided into 8 semesters so that students can complete this program in a periodical manner. In the first year of the program, students will learn the basics of plants, the economics of agriculture and courses of humanities & social science. In the second and third years, they will study core agriculture engineering, entomology, and microbiology etc. They will also get their skills strengthened in communication and entrepreneurship. In the final year, they will get hands-on experience practically on-field through Agronomy and Agricultural Statistics.
