The following is the program outcome for the Bachelor of Arts in English course –

• Demonstrate broad knowledge of English language, literature, and key literary movements, including major authors, genres, and periods.
• Explain historical, social, and philosophical contexts that shape literary texts and cultural productions studied in the program.
• Analyze and interpret literary and non-literary texts using appropriate critical approaches, theories, and concepts.
• Construct logical, evidence-based arguments and evaluate alternative viewpoints with clarity and depth.
• Communicate ideas effectively in English through clear, coherent, and grammatically accurate writing.
• Present information and arguments confidently in oral form in academic, professional, and public settings.

The candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility for the BA English course –

1. The candidates should have cleared 10+2 (any stream).
2. The 10+2 must be from a recognized board.
