It is a graduate degree program of law. It program apart from offering in depth knowledge in the core aspects of law, offers specialzed knowledge of different domains of legal profession such as Criminal law, Civil Law, Business & Corporate Law, Labour Law, International, Cyber Law, etc. The common core courses taught in this program are Principles of Contract, Arbitration & Alternate Disputes Resolution, Family Law, Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Code, Civil Procedure Code, Human Rights, Property Law Drafting, Pleading & Conveyancing, Legal Aid, Public Interest Litigation etc.

Why MUJ for this course
The University intends to groom highly competent legal professionals as there is a huge demand for such professionals. Recognizing that good communication and presentation skill is essential for success in the legal profession, additional courses have been incorporated in curricula of these programs to develop these skills in the students. The University has also set a Court Room in the campus to give our students an exposure to the legal practice.
Program Overview
- This program is meant for those aspirants who decide to pursue a career in the field of Law after their graduation. This three years program is divided into 6 semester of 6 months each. The first year of the program will focus on car courses like Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law etc. In the second and third years, elective courses of the various specializations will be offered alongwith the core courses, some of the specializations offered with this program are Criminal Law, Business & Corporate Law, Labour Law, International Law, Cyber Law etc.
- The program also requires practical exposure to the legal exposure. The Students are required to undergo intern ship/training in the industry, legal firm or under a senior advocate so that they are able to face the challenges and requirements of the job/profession after passing out.
- To provide comprehensive knowledge of Law to the students and the acquaint them with the Indian legal system.
- To acquaint the students with the specialized fields of legal profession and to equip them with the required knowledge and skills so that they may become successful professionals.
- To provide, highly competent legal professionals to the society and the industry.
After successful completion of LLB(H), BALLB or B.ComLLB program, a student will be able to;
- Have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Indian Legal System.
- Deal with various legal issues effectively with proper reasoning & sound arguments.
- Pursue legal profession successfully.
- Comprehend complex legal issues, analyze critically and take the best decision.
- Draft legal documents with precision.
- Apply legal knowledge appropriately in the society.
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institution with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) candidates or equivalent grade.
A host of career opportunities are available to Law graduates, prominent amon them are:
- Legal practice in the Cowds either independently or through a legald firm.
- One can apply for various Govt. jobs such as Judicial Magistrate, Public Prosecutor, Solicitors, Legal Advisors, Law Officers etc.
- One can also take up jobs like Legal Advisor, Legal Officer etc in various private organizations.
- They may work as advocate/legal counsels in various government/private organizations. They are required to advise their employer on various legal issues to protect the employer from any legal implications, and represent their employer in any legal matter.
- They can also take up litigations on behalf of their clients managing the entire process e.g. trial investigation, pleadings, discovery etc. They are also required to scrutinize and draft contracts for their company.
- As solicitors, they can specialize in a particular field of Law like Tax Law, Family Law, Property Law, Commercial Law, Corporate Law etc. and can offer expert advice to their clients.
- Teaching- One can opt for teaching in Govt. and private institutions after pursuing higher studies in the field.
