• They will develop an ability to read literature in relation to their historical and cultural contexts, in order to gain a richer understanding of both text and context, and to become more aware of themselves both historically and culturally.
• Students will value literature, language, and imagination, they will develop a passion for literature and language.

• Students will be able to understand the history and making of Indian constitution with its philosophical base.
• Students will be able to explain the parliamentary system of India.
• Students will be able to critically analyze and apply the basic principles of Indian and western political thinkers and scholars.
• Students will be able to understand the composition and functions of electoral system of India and can work as an observer.
• Students will be able to understand the meaning, nature and scope of the International Relations.
• The program develops the capacity to identify issues and problems relating to the violation of human rights.

Program Specific Outcomes:MA, Psychology

• Students will gain in depth conceptual and theoretical knowledge of psychological principles and would be able to apply them to research and professionals areas.
• Students will understand the application of psychological principles in applied areas of Psychology such as guidance & counseling, rehabilitation, psychotherapies etc.
• Students will gain competencies and professional skills for working and conducting research in the field of Clinical Psychology, Counseling and Health Psychology.

Students learn how to apply the knowledge from Economics in various sectors of society in order to solve various financial issues. Students will know Foreign Trade, FDI, International Trade, Foreign Policy, International Institutions, such as W.T.O, World Bank, I.M.F, ASSION, and Trade Policies and International debts etc. and can design local policies to overcome economical crises.

• Students can design policy to bridge the gap between agriculture, industry, and infrastructure sectors.
• Students can be aware of and make the public aware of taxation, public debt, fiscal and monetory policy etc.
• Students can understand fund based activities and non fund based activities, sources of revenue, merchant banking etc.
• Students will understand the concept of Credit Rating such as CRISIL, IICRA, CAREDCR, ONICRA. B. Lib.Isc. Programs.

Candidates having bachelor’s degree, preferably in the relevant subject, from a recognized university, are eligible for admission to this program.

Duration of the program is two years. The program may be offered either in annual system or in semester system having 4 semester in total.
