Program Overview
- This program is meant for those aspirants who decide to pursue a career in the field of Law after their graduation. This three years program is divided into 6 semester of 6 months each. The first year of the program will focus on car courses like Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law etc. In the second and third years, elective courses of the various specializations will be offered alongwith the core courses, some of the specializations offered with this program are Criminal Law, Business & Corporate Law, Labour Law, International Law, Cyber Law etc.
- The program also requires practical exposure to the legal exposure. The Students are required to undergo intern ship/training in the industry, legal firm or under a senior advocate so that they are able to face the challenges and requirements of the job/profession after passing out.

FAQ's
The major difference between both the two programs is that the BA LLB offers subjects of Humanities along with the law subjects and, BCom LLB offers subjects of Commerce along with the law subjects.
In BCom LLB course, commerce subjects like Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Taxation are included along with the law subjects such as IPR, Environmental Law, Law of Torts, Company Law, Legal Writing, etc.
After completing BCom LLB, one can pursue a career in corporate law firms, public sector undertakings, government organisations as well as start own law firms since he/ she has already studied the subjects related to business and commerce.
CLAT is an entrance exam conducted by National Law Universities in India. But it’s scores are accepted in almost all the colleges. No, it is not compulsory, as there are other law entrance exams as well like AILET and other state-level exams as well for admission into top law colleges in India.
You can become a lawyer, advocate, paralegal, legal counsellor, legal administrator, law officer, law associate, public prosecutor, judge, etc. If you wish to study further, you can do LLM (Master of Laws) and other professional specialized certificate and diploma courses.
