Program Overview

These 5 years integrated programs are meant for those early birds who decide to pursue their career in Law 10+2 itself. The programs are divided into 10 semesters of 6 months each. Apart from studying the subjects of their stream (Humanities or Commerce), the students also study the courses of Law, in these programs. In order to groom highly competent legal professionals, the programs focus on hands-on training through moot court, internship in the Industry, Legal firms or under some senior lawyer, so that they are able to meet the requirements and challenges of their job/profession effectively.

FAQ's

The major difference between both the two programs is that the BA LLB offers subjects of Humanities along with the law subjects and, BCom LLB offers subjects of Commerce along with the law subjects.
In BCom LLB course, commerce subjects like Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, Taxation are included along with the law subjects such as IPR, Environmental Law, Law of Torts, Company Law, Legal Writing, etc.
After completing BCom LLB, one can pursue a career in corporate law firms, public sector undertakings, government organisations as well as start own law firms since he/ she has already studied the subjects related to business and commerce.
CLAT is an entrance exam conducted by National Law Universities in India. But it’s scores are accepted in almost all the colleges. No, it is not compulsory, as there are other law entrance exams as well like AILET and other state-level exams as well for admission into top law colleges in India.

You can become a lawyer, advocate, paralegal, legal counsellor, legal administrator, law officer, law associate, public prosecutor, judge, etc. If you wish to study further, you can do LLM (Master of Laws) and other professional specialized certificate and diploma courses.
